Delivery
We keep our delivery fees simple. You pay R200 for an order of up to 9 kg, and R50 for every kg above 9 kg, with part of a kg counted as a full kg. A standard 750 ml bottle weighs about 1.5 kg once packed, so a case of 6 bottles comes to 9 kg. The exact fee is worked out automatically at checkout from the weight of your order, before you pay.
Extra charges for some addresses
Our courier charges more to deliver to farms, game farms, nature reserves, mines and some outlying areas. If your address carries an extra charge, we will contact you with the cost before we send your order, and you can choose to go ahead or cancel for a full refund.
Where and when we deliver
We deliver to street addresses anywhere in South Africa through our courier partner, Aspiring Couriers. We cannot deliver to PO boxes, Postnet counters or addresses outside South Africa.
Dispatch
We pack and send your order within 2 working days of receiving payment. You will get an email with your tracking number as soon as it leaves the farm.
- Cape Town and surrounds: usually 1 to 2 working days after dispatch.
- Rest of South Africa: usually 2 to 5 working days after dispatch. Outlying areas can take a day or two longer.
- Delivery days: the courier delivers Monday to Friday, during business hours, and not on weekends or public holidays.
- Delivery times are estimates from our courier and are not guaranteed. Busy periods, such as December, Easter and public holiday weekends, can cause delays.
- Please use an address where someone 18 years or older will be home during the day. A work address is often the easiest choice.
- Collect at the farm: Prefer to fetch your wine yourself? Choose Collect at Meerhof at checkout and there is no delivery fee. We will email you when your order is ready. You can collect it during tasting room hours, and the person collecting must show ID and the order number.
